RSIS alumni Mr Malminderjit Singh (MSc 2008) and Mr Prashant Bhalchandra Nayak (MSc 2016) received the Nanyang Alumni Achievement Award and Nanyang Alumni Service Award respectively in November 2022. Mr Singh has more than 15 years of experience in media, communications and public policy, and is currently Senior Account Director and Regional Content Lead at Hume Brophy. He also founded and runs the social media campaign #OneHumanitySG, a ground-up initiative to highlight meaningful encounters between people of different cultures in Singapore. Mr Nayak is the Vice President of Global Security APAC-ME, with the Walt Disney Company, and actively engages with RSIS and its centre ICPVTR. He has conducted three briefings, in 2016, 2017 and 2018, at its annual two-week Terrorism Analyst Training Course for mid-level professionals and analysts specialising in terrorism and security. The Nanyang Alumni Awards was launched in 2005 to recognise alumni from all fields who have brought honour to NTU Singapore.
