    Biography

    Stefanie Kam Li Yee obtained her doctoral degree from the Australian National University. She is Assistant Professor at the China Programme, Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She has published a peer-reviewed article on China’s securitization, surveillance and de-extremization in Xinjiang in International Affairs. Her commentaries have appeared in platforms such as The National Interest, East Asia Forum, Channel News Asia, TODAY and The Diplomat.
