Biography
Shantanu Sharma is a Senior Analyst at Centre of Excellence for National Security, RSIS, NTU. His work focuses the intersection of technology, geopolitics, and national security. His current research interests include emerging technologies such as quantum and space, AI security and privacy-enhancing technologies, and strategic communications for tackling cognitive operations.
He has previously worked in various research labs designing and implementing privacy enhancing technologies including federated learning, multiparty computation, and homomorphic encryption. Shantanu holds holds a B.Eng. (Hons) in Computer Science (specialization in Cybersecurity and Data Science) with Minor in Mathematics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
