- Will Singapore 2030 Be Less Or More Cohesive?
Ambassador Mohammad Alami Musa, Head of Studies in Inter-religious Relations in Plural Societies Programme at RSIS, made a presentation at the recent Singapore Perspectives 2021 conference. An excerpt of his speech was published as an opinion piece. “Singapore’s social milieu in the coming years will continue to be challenging. There will generally be a greater pull towards exclusivism and intolerance as individuals and groups accentuate feelings of superiority with regard to their beliefs. They ostracise those who do not agree with them,” he said.
