Why Religious Fundamentalism must be Checked
Fundamentalism is on the rise across the world and across religions. A major driver is a sense of disenchantment that many things have gone wrong because the societies they live in have departed from the dictates of religion and have become evil, wrote Mohammad Alami Musa from RSIS. Fundamentalism is a threat that could morph into a more aggressive and dangerous form if left unchecked, and should be watched closely before it becomes the slippery road to radicalism, he added.
