In a commentary, Dr James M. Dorsey, a Non-Resident Senior Associate at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies and Senior Fellow at the RSIS, discussed how the Saudi kingdom, with its image tarnished by multiple missteps, is seeking to ensure that it is not perceived as the odd man out as smaller Gulf states establish diplomatic relations with the Jewish state.
