Why Immigration isn’t a Numbers Game
Senior fellow at RSIS, Han Fook Kwang wrote in a commentary about why Singapore should move away from a discussion of immigration numbers and that the country should focus on the citizens’ sense of security. The more secure he feels about his job, standard of living, healthcare, housing, retirement benefits and his sense of worth in the country, the more he will be open to immigration.
