In a commentary, Vincent Mack, an associate research fellow at RSIS, said that over the past decade, Vietnam’s annual GDP growth rate has been on the rise, fluctuating between 6 to 8 per cent in the past year. He also said that Vietnam still suffers from some challenges such as sufficient proficiency in foreign languages such as English – a prerequisite to thrive in the international market.
