America’s post-war foreign policy grand strategy has been hollowed out and Trump’s departure won’t change that. At the same time, China is not a sufficiently telegenic ideological foe to reanimate it, said Dr Adam Garfinkle, Distinguished Visiting Fellow at RSIS in an opinion piece.
