ST editor-at-large Han Fook Kwang, who is also senior fellow at RSIS, wrote that one will not find a definitive answer to the question on whether the proposed law to counter online falsehoods will give excessive powers to ministers to further curb freedom of speech in Singapore, because it is a matter of opinion, not fact, as it depends on not just the law itself but on how one thinks the Government will act.
