Syria Lures, but Will Beijing Bite?
In a commentary, Dr James M. Dorsey, Senior Fellow at RSIS, wrote about the deepening Chinese-Russian ties in the wake of the pandemic. He added that the perceived greater Iranian dependence on China may allow for a divvying up of the pie in ways that turn Syria into an important Belt and Road node.
