Saudi prince’s Image Seen at Risk over Missing Critic
The disappearance of a prominent critic of Saudi Arabia’s rulers after entering the kingdom’s Istanbul consulate risks severely tarnishing the reformist image of its de facto leader Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, experts say. James M Dorsey, an expert in international affairs and a fellow at Singapore’s RSIS, said the critic’s disappearance could lead to a “significant deterioration” in relations between Ankara and Riyadh.
