SAF Training Deaths: Listen to What Soldiers Say
ST editor-at-large and RSIS senior fellow Han Fook Kwang wrote that Singapore had not seen such public shock and disbelief over the accidental death of one soldier since Aloysius Pang’s. Clearly, public confidence in the army needs to be restored – quickly. It should start with closely listening and taking in what people are saying, particularly the voices of national servicemen, active and operationally ready, and their parents.
