Chris Cheang, senior fellow at RSIS, shared in a commentary that COVID-19 in Russia coincided with the dramatic collapse of oil prices. He said that nevertheless, President Vladimir Putin remains in control of the country while no immediate change is expected from Russia’s current foreign policy stance towards the other major powers.
