On a Fast Track Like Never Before: The COVID-19 Vaccine Effort and 5 Vital Questions
Researchers are accelerating what usually takes 10 to 15 years so that a vaccine could be ready by next year. In May, Chinese President Xi Jinping committed to making a Chinese vaccine available to all. But the question here, said Professor Joseph Liow, a Research Adviser, RSIS and the Dean of NTU’s CoHASS is whether Beijing can win other countries’ trust and show that it is extending this help “in good faith” and with “no strings attached”.
