Indonesia Targets ‘Virus’ of Religious Radicalisation
Indonesians who had been repatriated from Syria have to take part in a government-sponsored deradicalisation programme for a month. According to the Global Threat Landscape report issued in January by RSIS, deradicalisation programmes targeting women and children are necessary given the growing number of women involved in terrorist activities. The programmes need to be different to those provided for male militants.
