Denmark offers a useful lesson on how a society develops strong bonds of community, sense of ownership
Would you be happy paying income tax amounting to half your salary?
… One hopeful point for Singapore: While history might explain why social trust is so strong in Denmark, other research has shown that high levels of education, the relative lack of income inequality and confidence in the fairness and efficiency of institutions are also important factors.
