Egypt has no Bright Future under Sisi: Analyst
James Dorsey, a senior fellow at S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, said in an interview with Press TV from Bangkok that he does not “see a bright further” for the North African country unless al-Sisi abandons his repressive policies.
The analyst further said that the regime was adopting a policy of repression against all political factions.
“You have a situation in which all opposition is repressed, whether that is an Islamist opposition or non-Islamist opposition. In other words, it is an exclusive regime rather than an inclusive regime,” Dorsey added.
The Egyptian government is bent on establishing an autocratic system worse than that of ousted dictator Hosni Mubarak, he said.
