- Towards a Multipolar Order Post-Pandemic
In a commentary, RSIS Professor Mely Caballero-Anthony wrote about how the complexity of the transnational issues confronting the world today underscores the growing interdependence of states and societies. These challenges are reshaping a multipolar order that is more diverse yet more connected, with a growing number of actors claiming influence over global governance, she wrote, and regional institutions like ASEAN, civil society organisations, and private actors all play a valuable role in offering more pathways for development, peace and security.
…Dr Mely Caballero-Anthony is Professor of International Relations and Head of the Centre for Non-Traditional Security Studies (NTS Centre) at the S Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
