A new disaster relief programme launched yesterday will research how humanitarian efforts can be improved.
The Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster ReliefProgramme was launched by the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies.
It will focus on four areas: study future disaster relief landscape in Asia, map out vulnerable populations, evaluate humanitarian effectiveness and study humanitarian technology.
