Impact Of COVID-19: Can Irregular Migrants Cope? – Analysis
S. Nanthini, a research analyst at NTU’s RSIS, wrote an article on how irregular migrants already struggling with poverty, displacement and discrimination, will be one of the hardest hit communities by the COVID-19 pandemic. She added that facing stigmatisation and a lack of resources, they are often overlooked in policy conversations despite their especially high vulnerability to the virus.
