    The Philippines foreign secretary called on Friday for US support in modernising the military, which ranks as the world’s 63rd strongest. Collin Koh, a maritime security research fellow at NTU Singapore, said the geopolitical issue, the limited funding as well as security concerns when it comes to sourcing equipment, limits the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
