When it comes to differences on foreign policy between both presidential candidates, pundits have noted a growing agreement in the US from both sides on how to take on China. “There is a broad-based bipartisan consensus in Washington that China is America’s number one rival,” Research Fellow Dr Adrian Ang said in a podcast on the US election by RSIS’ United States Programme on Oct 19. “That is probably the one and the only thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on today.”
