Singapore to do Feasibility Study for a Third Government to Government Project with China
Channel NewsAsia
Singapore aims to conclude a feasibility study into a third government-to-government project with China by next year. This includes establishing a concept, location and programmes, said Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean. He said Singapore is looking for a project that is ground-breaking, and that will fit into China’s current priorities. RSIS research analyst James Char said the western part of China is not as developed as the coastal cities of China, so the economic activities and development China is going to contribute, could reduce poverty in the area.
