The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) is seeking public nominations for Singapore’s National Recipient of the inaugural ASEAN People’s Award.

In a press release on Monday (Aug 24), the ministry said the award “seeks to recognise Singapore organisations and/or Singapore citizens who have made excellent and inspiring contributions towards ASEAN’s community building efforts”.

… The nominees and final national recipient of the award will be decided by a four person assessment panel, made up of ambassadors Chan Heng Chee, Ms Jennie Chua, Professor Tommy Koh and Mr Ong Keng Yong.
