In a commentary, RSIS’s Research Fellow Shang-Su Wu discussed the recently announced deal of eight MV-22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft to Indonesia – the first in Southeast Asia – and how the move signifies an attempt by Indonesia to improve its airlift capability, though with certain challenges ahead.
