Ong Keng Yong: I Learnt more about Islam, Thanks to Arabic
In the Supper Club interview, veteran diplomat and RSIS Executive Deputy Chairman Ong Keng Yong shared his views about living in Saudi Arabia, understanding the growing trend towards Islamisation in Malaysia, and the way forward for the RSIS, which he joined last month. He said a lot of work has been done at RSIS. But we should see how we can have some of these programmes address the specific requirements of key stakeholders like the ministries of Defence, Home Affairs, Foreign Affairs and Trade and Industry. It is also important to make Singaporeans more familiar with global conditions and informed about what is happening around us, he said.
