Experts said it will be hard to know how effective the un-crewed aircraft will be or how well the People’s Liberation Army can fit them into its network of other platforms. “It is difficult to be too serious about some of the equipment that the Chinese might be showing off. Some of them could be experimental or prototypes,” said Richard Bitzinger, a visiting senior fellow with the Military Transformations Programme at RSIS in Singapore.
