Indonesia Election: Prabowo’s Constant Drama in Bad Faith?
Discussions are continuing over why Indonesian presidential hopeful Prabowo Subianto is creating the same drama as that five years ago when he lost to the same rival Joko Widodo, claiming that he won and his dismissal of unofficial quick counts that were proven accurate in the past three presidential polls. Some observers, including Dr Alexander R. Arifianto, an Indonesia programme research fellow at RSIS in Singapore, say that the former army general, who has widely been seen as playing the religious card, may be after a certain agenda and has ample confidence about it.
