Experts: No Coordination in Bangladesh Govt De-radicalization Programs

Although a number of ad hoc de-radicalisation and rehabilitation programmes have been taken up by Bangladesh law enforcement agencies and the government, many of them have been discontinued due to a lack of coordination among agencies. Iftekharul Bashar, an associate research fellow at ICPVTR at RSIS, said the government’s efforts are being hindered by a disjointed approach which focuses only on Dhaka.
