US – North Korea Historic Summit The South Korean delegates went to Washington to talk with US President Trump and announced that Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong – un will meet by the end of May to discuss achieving “permanent denuclearization”. The international community welcomes this “miraculous” opportunity. Will the US – North Korea Summit be a historic milestone in the Korean Peninsula ? How will the Koreas and North – East Asian neighbours compete in the new development situation ? Strongman Putin to be reelected again ? The Russian Presidential Elections will be held on 18 March. There are no strong Presidential candidates and Putin appears set to be reelected. Putin has been in power for the past 18 years and this reelection will mean that he stays on as President till 2024.
