- Cosmetics Firm Uses Al-Qaeda Terrorist for Hair-Removal Advert
A COSMETICS firm has used a picture of al-Qaeda “9/11 mastermind” Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to sell a hair-removal cream.
The chilling picture of Guantanamo Bay prisoner Mohammed, who is accused of plotting the attack on the Twin Towers in 2001, is captioned: “The hair will not go away because you keep waiting.”
Terror suspect Mohammed was photographed after he was captured in Pakistan in 2003 with thick black hair sprouting across his back and chest.
But the Turkish company which created the advert assures that Mohammed was picked because he is hairy – not because of his terrorism links.
…He was sent to the Guantanamo detention centre in 2006 and is described by al-Qaeda expert Rohan Gunaratna as a “highly experienced organiser of terrorist attacks across international borders, one of an elite group capable of such events”.
