Universiti Sains Malaysia psychologist and criminologist Dr Geshina Ayu Mat Saat said that the brutality of their execution method was dependent on certain factors.
…Head of the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research Singapore Dr Rohan Gunaratna echoed Geshina’s sentiments that the gory depictions had the most impact on those who had violent tendencies.
