In a commentary, Assoc Prof Alan Chong from RSIS said that the summit meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korea leader Kim Jong Un, could be a platform for governments to send messages to target populations as it involved social media, cable and global satellite television. He added that the strategic, military and political substance of the summit appeared unimportant.
