Tan Ming Hui, an assoc research fellow and Nazia Hussain, a senior analyst, both from NTU’s RSIS, wrote that while trilateral and bilateral relations between members of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad), which includes the United States, India, Japan, and Australia, have regained momentum since 2017, it remains uncertain if the scope of the Quad will grow beyond consultative mechanisms over shared interests.
