Myanmar’s neighbours have intensified efforts to resolve the crisis in the country. The military-appointed foreign minister has held talks in Bangkok with his Indonesian counterpart. Associate Professor Alan Chong, Head of the Centre for Multilateralism Studies at RSIS, shared his thoughts on the diplomatic activities, and what ASEAN can do to address the situation in Myanmar.
