The Asia Pacific Partnership for Atrocity Prevention commenced in late 2015 as a new international partnership with founding partners including:

• ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights – Jakarta, Indonesia,
• Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace, Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia,
• Centre for Non-Traditional Security – RSIS, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore,
• Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect – New York, USA/Geneva, Switzerland,
• Human Rights Working Group –  Jakarta, Indonesia,
• Department of Political Science School of Social Sciences Ateneo de Manila University , Philippines
• Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect – The University of Queensland, Australia (Secretariat).

The inaugural APPAP meeting co-hosted by  the Secretariat for Asia Pacific Partnership for Atrocities Prevention (Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect) and the Centre for Non-Traditional Security Studies (NTS Centre), S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore will  provide updates on Atrocity Prevention in the region and  agree on an organizational design, Plan of Action and next steps for the Partnership.
