Abstract:
This 3-day workshop is co-hosted by the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies and Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies. The workshop builds on past successes of the sub regions’ disaster response developments and significant lessons learned through major disasters, it will collectively analyse Asia-Pacific’s dynamic response coordination landscapes, identify emerging issues and trends with strategic implications for regional cooperation, and assess future collaborative possibilities for improved disaster response architectures within sub-regions, particularly Southeast Asia.
