Prof. Paul Teng, Senior Fellow and Advisor of the Food Security Programme in the RSIS Centre for NTS Studies, delivered a presentation on ‘Food Security and Climate Change Impact on Urban-Rural Linkages’ at the Conference on ‘Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation for Food and Environmental Security’ organised by UPLB and SEARCA in November 2012.
This scientific meeting was held on 21-22 November 2012 at SEARCA, College, Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines with a one-day fieldtrip within the Southern Tagalog Region on 23 November 2012.
The event brought together researchers, academicians, policymakers and planners, development workers, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and other professionals in a discussion forum for the exchange and updating of information, and integration and forging of linkages towards enhanced regional capacity to achieve food, environmental, nutritional and health security in the face of climate change.
