Assoc Prof Kumar Ramakrishna spoke on the “Threat of Transnational Terrorism to Aviation Security” at the ASEAN Counter-Terrorism Conference on Aviation Security 2018, which was held at the Interpol Global Complex for Innovation, on 1 August. The Conference was attended by 28 participants from the ASEAN member states and 25 observers from local aviation entities such as Singapore Aircargo Agents Association, Ministry of Transport, Changi Airport Group, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, RSIS, and the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, as well as representatives from the Transportation Security Administration and Australian Federal Police.
