Diplomatic and Security Multilateralism

The research areas include:

• Inter-governmental and non-official arrangements such as the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), ASEAN+3, East Asia Summit (EAS), Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), Six-Party Talks, the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific (CSCAP), and the like;
• Initiatives in defence diplomacy include the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM) and ADMM Plus, the Shangri-la Dialogue, and alliances.
