    Biography

    Dr Mahfuh Bin Haji Halimi is a Research Fellow at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS). He was a manager at Andalus Corporation from 1997 – 2002, and before that was Head of Education and Community Services Department of PERDAUS (Association of Adults Religious Class Student of Singapore) from 1996 – 1997. He attended the national school until ‘A’ level before going through an informal, but traditional curriculum, studying under the tutelage of local religious scholars for 15 years before pursuing his first degree. He obtained a First Class Honours in Islamic Studies from the Faculty of Islamic Studies, National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2001 and a Masters of Science in Strategic Studies from RSIS, NTU in 2007. He then went on to secure his PhD in Strategic Studies from RSIS, NTU in 2018.
