How to Apply

  1.  Complete the application form that is available HERE
  2.  Attach ALL the following documents to your online application:
    1. One recent passport-size photo
    2. Copy of Passport or NRIC
    3. TOEFL / IELTS test score: applicants who have completed their Bachelor’s degree for which English is not the language of instruction are required to demonstrate English proficiency with TOEFL/IELTS scores.
      • Test dates must be within 2 years from the date of application.
      • A TOEFL Test Score of minimum 100 or a IELTS score of minimum 7.0. is required.
    4. Official Master’s and Bachelor’s degree transcripts (if the transcripts are not in English, please attach scanned certified English translations)
    5. Official Master’s and Bachelor’s degree certificates (if the certificates are not in English, please attach scanned certified English translations)
    6. Resume / CV
    7. Research proposal: please attach it under the ‘Proposed Research Topic’ field
    8. Two academic references:
      • Applicants must provide the name and contact details of their referees as part of the online application and the University will contact them to request their reference reports.
      • Please ensure that your referees have agreed to provide a reference before you submit your application.
      • Please provide their work/university contact email, not their personal email (e.g. Gmail or Yahoo).
      • Applications will not be forwarded to Schools for processing until both references have been received.
    9. Statement of purpose (600 words): please attach it under the ‘Proposed Research Topic’ field.
    10. Writing sample
      • Please attach it under the ‘Research Experience/Papers Published’ field, and do note that this should be a piece of analytical writing of which you are the sole author.
  3.  All applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of S$50. Payment can be made via credit (visa or master), once you have submitted the online application.

NOTE: Incomplete applications, including incomplete submission of documents, will not be processed. Unless otherwise advised, submission of documents through email will not be considered.
