FORUM OBJECTIVE

The Global Forum on Humanitarian Civil-Military Coordination in support of the World Humanitarian Summit will focus on the two WHS Themes where civil-military coordination has a role to play and can contribute to generate discussions and formulate recommendations on how to set an innovative and forward-looking agenda for humanitarian action. These themes are: 1) Humanitarian Effectiveness and 2) Serving the Needs of People in Conflict.

The forum will take into consideration the recommendations that have been already formulated in relation to the WHS themes and the role of civil-military coordination during the WHS Regional Consultations, first and foremost the consultations for North and South-East Asia.
