Angelo Paolo L. Trias is an Associate Research Fellow of the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Programme at the Centre for Non-Traditional Security Studies, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
Angelo’s research lies at the intersection of risk science, disaster governance, crisis and emergency management, non-traditional security, humanitarian affairs, and civil-military relations. He studies issues concerning complex systems, decision-making, and coordination mechanisms using data science, network analysis, and applied psychology. His current work focuses on matters relating to policy and regional cooperation.
Angelo holds a Master Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, as well as Certificates in Political Science and Crisis Management.
