Jansen Wee is a Research Fellow at the National Security Studies Programme (NSSP), S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Prior to this, he was a Senior Assistant Director at the National Security Coordination Centre (NSCC), where he had also served as head of the RAHS (Risk Assessment Horizon Scanning) Think Centre, in the RAHS Programme Office. Jansen had previously also completed a 23-year career in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) where he served first in the capacity of an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) officer, and subsequently moved through a series of intelligence appointments. His last active appointment in the military was as the Commanding Officer of the SAF Open Source Centre.
