15th NADI Meeting
The 15th NADI Annual Meeting, organised by the General Department of Policy and Foreign Affairs (GDPFA), Ministry of National Defence, Cambodia, was held virtually from 21 to 22 March 2022. Lieutenant General Nem Sowathey, Deputy Director-General, GDPFA, and Director of the Sena Techo Unit, Ministry of National Defence of Cambodia, chaired the Meeting.
The theme of the 15th NADI Annual Meeting was “The Commemoration of 15th Anniversary of NADI: Achievements, Challenges and Prospects”. The Meeting acknowledged the important role of NADI over the past 15 years as a Track II forum for discussions and also for providing policy analyses and recommendations in supporting the ADMM. NADI delegates discussed regional and global defence and security developments, and emphasised the importance for NADI to focus research efforts into these issues. The delegates provided recommendations for NADI how it could enhance its role in supporting the ADMM through joint research efforts.
