New Low in Saudi – Pakistani Ties
Saudi Arabia and Pakistan always have had old traditional ties between them, but this bilateral relationship has been strained of late. James Dorsey, Senior Fellow at the Singapore-based RSIS, said the robust growing relationship between India and Saudi Arabia has resulted in the latter steadily distancing itself from Pakistan. This said, Saudi Arabia should also have a cautious approach in dealing with Pakistan especially when Iran is getting close to Pakistan geopolitically, with China thrown in.
