All Eyes On How New Muhyiddin Government Handles Three Issues in Malaysia
In a commentary, Ariel Tan, who is NTU’s RSIS Deputy Head of Policy Studies said all eyes will now be on newly minted Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and how his party Perikatan Nasional handle three critical issues in the near term. First, dealing with reform and corruption, the rise of east Malaysian parties and Parti Islam Se-Malaysia, and finally igniting support from young voters.
