Margareth Sembiring, senior analyst at RSIS, noted that as digital savviness upgrades to safe, resilient and sustainable living environments and as ICT advancements continue to bring new wonders, there is a strong need to ensure that the digital divide between cities and rural areas does not widen in the process.
